# Volumes View

Volumes are used as persistent storage. The overview page shows information about which service the volume belongs to, its name ([resource ID](https://docs.cybus.io/1-10-1/documentation/services/service-resources-view/broken-reference)), the creation date and time, and its status.

This feature is available only in Docker Compose deployments, but not in Kubernetes of Connectware. Using this in a Kubernetes deployment will be refused with a suitable error message.

## Overview

By clicking on one of the listed volumes you get redirected to the [Details View](#details-view) of the selected volume.

## Details View

The volume has resources itself. In this case there is only Labels.
